Islands of Reunion and Mauritius.

Biology

Pollinator: Ceratosolen coecus (Coquerel)

Non-pollinators: Sycophaga explorator (Coquerel) and Apocrypta perplexa Coquerel.

Habitat

Forest or thicket, usually along water courses, up to an altitude of 1100m.
