Distribution

Madagascar, Mascarene Islands, Seychelles, Aldabra Island & Comoro Islands. The species is more frequent in the north of Madagascar (Diego Suarez), but appears to be widespread in the country. 

Biology

Pollinator: Nigeriella avicola Wiebes.

Habitat

Rocky places and in forests up to an altitude of 1000m.
