Distribution

Madagascar. Widespread, but more abundant in the south-west of the country.

Biology

Pollinator: Platyscapa bergi Wiebes.

Habitat

Dry areas, savannas, dunes, in rocky  places, on cliffs, but also on riversides, up to an altitude of 1200m.
