Old World: Afrotropical, Oriental, Australasian, and southern Palearctic regions.

Biology

 

Host fig species: Ficus species in Subgenus Urostigma (Sections Urostigma; Stilpnophyllum; Galoglychia) Subgenus Pharmacosycea (Section Oreosycea); Subgenus Sycomorus (Section Sycocarpus); Subgenus Sycidium (Section Sycidium).
