(Life: Kingdom: Metazoa (animals); Phylum: Arthropoda; Class: Hexapoda; Order: Hymenoptera;  Superfamily: Chalcidoidea; Family: Pteromalidae; Subfamily Sycoecinae; Genus: Seres)

Phagoblastus bouceki Wiebes 1981. Holotype in NCB Naturalis (formerly Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie - RMNH) Type locality: Réunion. Combination by Cruaud et al. (2013).

Distribution

 

Recorded from Réunion and Aldabra Islands, but probably present throughout the range of the host fig (Madagascar and Mascarene Islands).

Biology

Host figs: Ficus reflexa reflexa; Ficus reflexa aldabrensis
