Nigeriella fusciceps Wiebes 1974. Holotype in NCB Naturalis (formerly Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie - RMNH). Type locality: Nigeria


Mandible and mandibular appendage. 




Nigeria, but probably present throughout the range of the northern population of the host fig (lighter colour). Southern population is pollinated by a different species: Elisabethiella comptoni Wiebes.


Host fig: Ficus abutilifolia (Miq.) Miq.


Wiebes J.T. 1974. Nigeriella, a new genus of West African fig wasps allied to Elisabethiella Grandi (Hymenoptera Chalcidoidea, Agaonidae). Zoologische Mededeelingen (Leiden) 48:2942.
