Pseudidarnes laevis Farache & Rasplus, 2014. Holotype: in Centre de Biologie pour la Gestion des Populations, Montpellier, France (CBGP). Type locality: Crater Mountain, 6.58, 145.08, 2000m (Papa New Guinea).

Associated with an undetermined Ficus species collected in Papua New Guinea. Reared together with Pseudidarnes acaudus, but more abundant than the later.
