Distribution

 South-east Asia, Malesia, Papua New Guinea and Australia (Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia).

Biology

 Pollinators: Ceratosolen (Ceratosolen) solmsi solmsi and Ceratosolen (Ceratosolen) solmsi marchali.

Habitat

 Small tree to 13 metres, sometimes buttressed, cauliflorous or ramiflorous, figs often borne in long clusters laying on the ground at the base of the tree, leaves sand-papery. Occurs in rainforest and gallery forest.
