Distribution

Australia (from Torres Strait to New South Wales).

Biology

Pollinator: Pleistodontes imperialis Saunders.

Habitat

Strangler fig on trees and rocks, reaching a maximum height of 30m, though often only 6m especially on exposed rocks. Occurs in rainforest, dry/monsoon rainforest and riparian forest.
